Every year the Friday after Thanksgiving we all as a family go ride for the day. It is fun and relaxing and we get to be with family that we see once a year.

Thought I would share with you all my creativity that came out one weekend. For some reason I was creative one week and decided to make my friend a diaper cake for her baby shower. It was crazy, cause what I had in mind came out and I produced a sweet diaper cake. I was very proud of my self cause I have no creativeness what so ever. Hope you ennjoy the pics.

B desparately needed a 2nd hair cut so we took him for a mini makeover. He went from being a baby boy to a big boy. I was so tired of his long baby hair, I told the lady to cut it off. But my baby is now a boy. I love the new hair cut and it fits his personality perfect.

This past weekend one of Anthony's sister, Lauren, from New York & her boyfriend came down to visit. It was a short but great visit. We took B to the Ft Worth Zoo for the first time and he seemed to love it. Here are a few pics from the zoo. I had to put the two turtles doing it on here cause I thought it was the funniest thing ever. We had a good time with her here and we were sad they had to go so soon .

B loves climbing into his car, but he likes to sit in it backwards. While he sits in the car backward he hops up and down so that his butt is honking the horn. When you tell him to honk the horn he jumps up and down using his butt. It is the funniest thing. God love him.

First Haircut

My baby is getting and looking so big now. We had his first haircut done this past Friday. He got to sit in the airplane and watch TV and had some animal crackers. He loved sitting in the plane and he was making it very difficult for the stylist to cut his hair because he wanted to drive the plane. It was cute. All in all he did a good job and now he really looks like a little boy.

Hello all, I know its been a while but staying busy is the name of the game. We went to New York for the Forth of July week and just got back in town this past saturday and I realized I have not posted pics in a long time, so here are some pics from our New York trip 2009. All is good here at the D'Angelo house. B is still a long way from walking. But we are working on it. He has started to say a lot more words and he remembers where everything is. So the story goes...B had his first birthday on June 20th from 3-5 at my mom's house outside. That was the first mistake. Not to mention it was also during his afternoon nap. I had about 3 mini pools set up for the babies with beach balls and blow up sea creatures. Thanks to Poppy and Nana, the set up was wonderful. The theme was a little bit of a Beach theme and Spongebob. B loves Spongebob. Anyways, 2 other babies showed up, some family and friends and the party began. We started outside until everyone started sweating their butts off then it was moved inside. B was so tired he wanted nothing to do with presents or cake. I think his favorite gift was the push car and the lawnmower. He is obsessed with lawnmowers. So I think the cake pics tell the whole story of the party. Thanks everyone who came and for the gifts.

The past 2 weeks B has been eating almost solid foods. He is eating the cooked carrots and meat stick for graduates. He also loves sliced cheese. Watermelon is one of his favs also.

Finally, just this past month B has been holding his own bottle. Ugh!!! Took him long enough. He knows where his bread is buttered. Haha.

Yea for sippy cups...B likes White Grape juice in his sippy cup.

Since Braylon's birthday is coming up we decided on doing a beach theme party so he was testing out the kiddie pools we bought. He loves the bath so I figured we would make his party a beach theme with a couple of pools of water and a couple with sand. Hope it turns out great.

Sorry everyone I know its been awhile but please take the time to check out the pictures. It has been a little crazy the past month with daddy's new job and getting adjusted to our new family schedule. Daddy works alot of late nights so it is just mommy and "B" most of the time. Mommy gets worn out real quick during the week. Daddy also has to work on the weekends. We miss him alot.

Here is a quick run down of what "B" can do now. He is definitely getting around everywhere via crawling. He is pulling up on everything he can grab a hold of and wants to walk pretty soon. He has learned "more" in sign language and loves to play "Patty Cake". Just this past week he is drinking out of a sippy cup by his self but is still too lazy to hold his own bottle. Haha. My baby is growing so fast. We have also endured a double ear infection at the end of April and we go for a follow up tomorrow. So cross your fingers the Dr. doesn't tell us he needs tubes in his ears. He probably weighs about 24 pounds now and has 2 teeth on the bottom and one on top. Beleive it or not he will be a year on June 17. OMG that is crazy. Hope you enjoy the new pics.

Braylon is now 9 months and a few days old. He is growing sooooo fast. He is pretty much crawling but we call it the army crawl. He loves to play on the ground and can definitely get to where he is going with out help. We went to his 9 month check up on Tuesday and he is average with his weight & his height is above average & his head was of course below average. He does have his second ear infection so we are on our second round of antibiodics. He has also learned to wave bye-bye. It is so cute. He is growing way to fast.

Sorry its been so long since I updated out blog, but it has bee a crazy 2 weeks. This past weekend we upgrated Braylons car seat to a big rear/front facing seat. He loves it but he is growing so fast. He looks like a big boy in it. Its still hard to get used to it cause it take a lot longer to buckle him in now rather than the infant seat that just snaps in the base in the car. But anyways he loves his new car seat also cause he can see out the window.

So we have figured out how to come up on our hands and knees but just have not figured out how to move a hand & a leg together. He just rocks on his knees. But we are sitting up all by ourselves.

Grandma and grandpa D from New York came to visit us and Grandpa D taught Braylon how to drink from an adults glass. He mostly chewed on the glass because it probably felt good on his gums since he is teething. Thought this was a cute pic.

Ok so the story goes like this. Nana watched Braylon last Friday & she found his first tooth coming through. I think this may have started a terrible week for Braylon, mommy and daddy. Saturday night Braylon was very fussy and would not keep still when i was trying to put him to bed. So I sat him on my lap and all of the sudden here comes a projectile vomit all over mommy, (luckily it did not get on the couch or the floor). So Sunday he felt ok but had a little dry cough. Monday he started getting the sniffles and coughing more. So I though well he might just have another little cold. Well it was worse on Tuesday, so we slept in and I took him to the Dr. She said he had a mild ear infection and the start of RSV (Respiratory Virus)
so she gave me an antibiodic just in case his snot got darker green/yellow. Well the snot was clear the rest of the day on Tuesday, but a fever kicked in and was steady at about 100.0. So Tuesday night he slept with me in the bed so he could be proped up and also because his coughing was sooooo bad. So on Wednesday we woke up late again and he sounded even worse and still had a fever. I took him to day care and she called me at 11:30 to come pick him up. So i picked him up and called the dr and we were on our way back. When the dr came in and listened to his chest she said it has gotten 90% worse and is definitely RSV. So we did a breathing treatment in the office so she could listen to his chest after the treatment. She said it helped so she sent us home with one to use every 4-6 hours and 3 days of steriods to help clear it all up. So needles to say our week has been excellent. (haha)

We went to Georgia for Thankgiving to see my side of the family. It was Braylon's first road trip of 13 hours on a motor coach. He surprisingly did great. He slept the whole way since we drove at night. We had a great time. Went to the Lake house in South Carolina and rode dirt bikes and 4 wheelers. Braylon loved the motorcycles. The pictures below are from Thanksgiving day when the Cowboys were playing we all gathered around the RV and watchd the game outside. It was a little chilly but nice.
